Biography

A proud product of rural North Carolina, Attorney Joseph Causey was born in Southport and raised in Shallotte. As the Valedictorian of West Brunswick High School in 1984, he demonstrated a passion for learning early on, which led him to Duke University. There, he earned a degree in Economics and Public Policy Studies before going on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of Law in 1991.

With over 30 years of legal experience, Attorney Causey has honed his skills in estate planning and estate probate administration, focusing particularly on serving retired seniors. He is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate the often complex and emotional process of planning for the future. Known for his compassionate and empathetic approach, he ensures that his clients’ goals and needs are always the priority.
